Short version: we collect what you type into the request form, we use it to answer you, and we do not sell it.

A note for you only you can see this

This policy is accurate for the site as built, and this note does not appear on your live site. Check the retention periods and the contact address below are right for you.

It is written to work in every state rather than one: it grants the rights the strictest state laws describe to everyone who asks, so you do not need a different version per state. Most of those laws do not apply to a business this size in any case.

If you add analytics, an advertising pixel or a booking system later, this page stops being true and has to be updated. The chat and its bot check are already described below. Those two blocks are kept up to date for you and you cannot edit them; if you switch the chat or the bot check off, tell us and we will take them off your page.

What we collect

Only what you send us: the name, telephone number, optional email address and description you enter in the request form, plus anything you type into the chat. There is no account, no tracking pixel, no advertising network and no analytics on this site.

What we do with it

We use it to respond to your request, to schedule and carry out work, and to keep a record of what was done. We do not sell it, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to make automated decisions about you.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider processes the request in transit, and any supplier directly involved in your job may receive what they need to do it.

Messages you send in the chat are delivered to the booking system we use to answer them, which is operated on our behalf by the company that builds and maintains this site. They are kept only as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the work.

Checking you are not a bot

The request form and the chat are protected by reCAPTCHA v3, a bot-detection service supplied by Google, which decides whether a submission comes from a person or from automated traffic. To do that it receives your IP address and basic technical information about your browser, and it may set a cookie. It is used for that purpose only: it is not analytics, it is not advertising, and it is not used to build a profile of you. What Google does with that information is covered by their own privacy notice. This paragraph is maintained centrally by the company that builds this site and reads the same on every site they build. How long we keep it

Job records are kept for seven years for warranty, insurance and tax purposes. Inquiries that do not become work are deleted within twelve months.

Your choices

Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. You can also tell us not to contact you again. Some states give their residents these rights by law and others do not. We are not drawing that line: you get them wherever you live, and asking costs you nothing and changes nothing about the service you receive. If you want someone to make a request for you, they can, and we will check with you first.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.

Changes to this policy

If what we do with your information changes, this page changes with it. There is no version history here and no notification list — the plain truth is that a static site collecting one form's worth of contact details has very little to change, and if that stops being true the text above will say so.
